At My Plastic Limited, the safety, health, and welfare of our employees, visitors, suppliers, and community are of the utmost importance. We are fully committed to maintaining a safe and healthy working environment in compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act, 2007 (Kenya) and relevant international standards.

We believe that every incident is preventable, and we strive to operate as a responsible manufacturer where health, safety, and environmental care are integrated into every process.

Our Health & Safety Principles

Providing and maintaining safe site, equipment, and systems of work.
Ensuring all staff receive safety training, protective gear, and ongoing guidance.
Preventing accidents and incidents by identifying and mitigating risks early.
Keeping the workplace free from hazards, harmful emissions, and unsafe conditions.
Complying with OSHA 2007 and all relevant laws, codes, and standards.
Conducting fire drills, emergency training, and regular safety audits.

Employee Responsibilities

All employees at My Plastic Limited are expected to:

Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
Use tools, machinery, and PPE responsibly.
Report hazards, incidents, or unsafe behavior immediately.
Contribute to creating a respectful and secure work environment.

Visitor & Contractor Safety

Visitors and contractors must comply with all safety rules when on site. A visitor safety briefing and PPE will be provided as needed. No access is permitted to restricted zones without authorization.

Monitoring & Continuous Improvement

We regularly:

Conduct risk assessments and review safety procedures.
Hold health & safety committee meetings and staff consultations.
Investigate incidents and implement corrective measures.
Review and update this policy to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
